Musicians have heard their livelihood referred to as a hobby at some point in their musical journeys. Whatever risks are associated with pursuing a performance career, Daryn can't resist the call of the stage, the music, the literature, and the joy it brings both her and those who listen. She is passionate about many different genres from opera, to art song, to musical theater, to jazz, to gospel, to choral, and anything else she has the opportunity to be a part of. This allows her to connect with all kinds of people, which for her, is the most powerful aspect of music. People want her to think of the risks? There are no risks when it's who you are.
